Kate Munroe, codename Ruby, is a British agent deep undercover inside the KGB. As such, her life was always destined to be complicated and dangerous. When two men commit suicide in a Moscow Metro station, Ruby’s KGB masters insist that a renegade Militia captain conducts the investigation. With an ulterior motive to safeguard, Ruby is ordered to observe the Militia investigator. He’s a brilliant investigator but has a questionable political record, a reputation for pursuing criminals like a dog after a bone, and Ruby’s masters don’t trust him.
          When Ruby discovers the deaths are linked to another investigation, she is forced to decide where her loyalties lie.
