Detective Inspector Meredith Loxton was hunting an elusive serial killer who left a string of victims across Tasmania, Queensland and the Northern Territory. She thought she had tracked him down in Devonport.           Then FBI Special Agent Dennis Carling arrives in Forestdale. His enquiries into the serial killer’s background have unearthed a mountain of stunning evidence about Meredith’s prime suspect. She trusts no one with the information and decides to pursue the killer herself, but that decision begins a dangerous game of hide and seek, fighting enemies on two fronts.
